Josie Houston

Josie is the Accounts Manager for QCL. In July 2018, when legal entities had to begin to comply with the AML/CFT Act, Queen City Law created Josie’s role so that she could solely focus on keeping the firm compliant with the Act. She works closely with all solicitors and support staff who require help with onboarding clients and any AML queries that may come up.

Josie also manages the Trust Account under the auspices of QCL’s Practice Manager and in accordance with NZLS requirements. Josie has also become the firm’s social media manager and co-organiser of staff events. She has demonstrated some excellent creative skills and provided inspiration to staff including the lawyers as they produce YouTube videos and other social media content.

Josie has a can-do attitude and enjoys seeing some of QCL’s younger staff develop their careers.
