CHCH 2015

Dear Marcus and Queen City Law,

I would like to thank your ever so much for your support of the Nelson Eagles Softball Club Little League team that traveled to the South Island Grand Prix Club Finals in Christchurch.

The have had a very successful season which culminated in us winning 7 games in a row in two days. We were challenged in the final by a very valiant Rolleston Raiders, but were able to prevail 2-1 to claim 1st place.

I must emphasise that these young boys were very focused and showed outstanding attrition, this along with a desire to enjoy themselves and play for each other was the foundation for their success.

As a coach I endeavor to enable them to “rise up” to opportunities that are available and regardless of how hard things may get “never give up”.

Your support is appreciated

Yours Sincerely

Marty Grant – 3 Rings Softball Academy

Grant, who played 90 games for the Black Sox but missed this month’s world championships victory because of injury, will be remembered as one of the game’s greats.

His international career started when the Black Sox toured Canada in 1990 and had numerous highlights, well played Marty Grant you are a true NZ champion. Queen City Law wish you all the best with the future endeavours as pitching director for New Zealand Softball.
