Children are the future of our society and Queen City law are proud to support the Our Children Our Community (OCOC) project.
OCOC aims to produce a fun and inspiring event to children of our community particularly those from the disadvantaged families, to help build a sense of pride in their future. This is essentially a project aimed at providing children from the community a day of fun and inspiration (particularly aimed at children from disadvantaged backgrounds whether it be financial or social). OCOC aims to produce a fun and inspiring event to children of our community particularly those from the disadvantaged families, to help build a sense of pride in their future. OCOC will invite 5 different primary schools surrounding Birkdale Intermediate School of a low decile group inviting children from those schools to attend free of charge.
The project will take place on Saturday 7 December 2013 at Birkdale Intermediate School (North Shore) between 2-4pm, if you can volunteer please click here
and let us know. Volunteers are needed from around 1-5pm. There will be a fireman, a police man, a lawyer/kickboxer and Captain Pukeko as rotational facilitators for 4 children’s groups. Each facilitator will be assisted by a volunteer and the children will be divided into 4 groups. Each group will have a volunteer group leader. There will be face painting, photos, an art competition and pizza so there is plenty of other support required
